Dhal Puri Roti is a traditional Caribbean dish that consists of a thin, tortilla-like bread that is been stuffed with a savoury filling, rolled out flat, and then cooked on a hot iron tava.
This particular recipe fills the delicately thin dough with a hearty mix of yellow split peas that have been mixed with a bold blend of spices. This roti goes perfectly with a curry, stew, or they can be enjoyed on their own.

Sprinkle with water, wrap with foil. Place in oven at 200C for 10 minutes
Wrap in damp paper towel. Set on high power for 90 seconds. (Note bread and similar products' consistency alters/impairs when microwaved and then cooled).
